Is Shade M Halal Certified? 

Yes! Following a rigorous procedure to insure our products are guaranteed clean and halal, Shade M is proud to be halal certified by RACS and ESMA.

What is Halal Makeup?

Halal is the next must have in clean beauty – regardless of your background. Simply put, halal makeup doesn’t include animal-derived ingredients, alcohol or GMOs that are deemed unclean in Islam. Read more about what Halal makeup is and the difference between Halal and Vegan.

Is Shade M Vegan Friendly?

Is Shade M Cruelty Free? 

All of our products are created without testing on animals including ingredients and finished product- we are 100% cruelty free and recognized by PETA. Discover more about Cruelty Free

Are you owned by a company that tests on animals? 

No, Shade M is it’s own entity and is not owned by a secondary party.

When is the next product launching?

We’re all about expanding and don’t want you to miss out when our newest shades drop! Do your products contain alcohol? 

Our products do not contain any alcohol which is not allowed under RACS Halal certification regulations. Learn more

Do your products contain Pork?

No, because we’re Halal certified, PETA approved vegan and cruelty free. Our products contain no pork or any other animal byproducts. We love everyone even the tiniest of creatures. Learn more

What ingredients is Muse Matte Liquid Lipstick free of?

Alcohol, sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban.

How can I find out more information about a product?

You can learn about each product on their individual pages- if there is further information you would like to learn about please contact us!  

Will my products melt/dry/freeze/expire, etc?

If the product is subjected to excessive heat or cold for short periods of time, it will not impact the product formulas- we have lots of customers who live all over the world so we’ve made sure our products will stand up to even the hottest or coldest climates. While the products don’t have a formal expiration date, it is generally recommended that they be used within 3 years of manufacture or 6 months after opening for best product quality...but we think you’ll be rocking your shades so much it won’t be an issue.

SHIPPING

Where does Shade M ship? 

We currently ship globally to insure none of our Muses miss out on their favorite Shades.

What are your shipping fee’s? 

Shipping fee’s are calculated on a per country/address basis and order size. Shipping options and cost models will be provided to you upon checkout.

When will my order ship?

Here’s how it works: you order, we process, then we ship. Ordering takes a few seconds. Processing takes 1 to 2 business days (and orders placed after 1pm ET are processed the next business day). Then one of our carriers takes it from there. You’ll get a shipment notification email with a tracking number as soon as your package ships.

I’m having problems with the tracking 

Sorry about that! In a few cases, the carrier takes 1-2 business days to register your shipment status. If your tracking number isn’t updating or working at all, please reach out to us as soon as you can insert email.

Will I be responsible for import duties, fees and taxes? 

Shade M doesn’t cover the cost of any additional fee’s incurred by your local country for import duties, fees and taxes. 
Note: When ordering from Shade M, the Customer is the importer and will act as the importer of record for goods imported into the receiving country, and is liable for any duties and taxes payable on importation. Shade M does not collect duties and taxes from the Customer for orders shipping into these countries. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

BILLING

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged as soon as your order is accepted and processed.  

Can I remove a saved payment method?

Of course! You can make this change on your Account page. If you need help, email us at iam@shadembeauty.com

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club credit cards or debit cards, PAYPAL. Unfortunately, we cannot accept checks or money orders.

What can I do if my payment is declined?

Oh no! Here are a few things to check if your payment didn’t go through: Check that your card’s billing details (such as the security code and billing address) match what you’ve entered into our system.

Is your card expired?

Your card issuer may have declined your payment. They don’t tell us the reason for this, so it’s best to check with them before trying your card again. If none of these apply, please contact us at iam@shadembeauty.com

ORDER QUESTIONS

How can I update my order?

Please email us at iam@shadembeauty.com as soon as possible if you would like to cancel or change your order. Our fulfillment center processes orders quickly, but we’ll do our best to process your request.

How can I check the status of my order?

You can view order status on your Account page, which will be updated as soon as you are charged for your shipment and again once your order ships.

Something is missing from my order- Help!

Sorry about that! We might not have had all of the items you ordered in stock when your package shipped. If that was the case we cancelled it and you weren’t charged, the shipping confirmation email should tell you which products might still be outstanding and awaiting shipping or were cancelled. If you have any further questions or concerns please contact us.

How can I find the status of my order? 

We get it, you want your products as soon as you can get them: Find the status of your order on your Account page or use the tracking code included in the email we sent you once your order shipped.

How can I edit my shipping address?

Oh no it’s the worst when you realize you’ve input your address wrong or need to change it. No worries please contact us insert email if the package hasn’t shipped yet we’ll see what we can do to help!

How can I cancel my order?

As soon as your order is placed, it is processed by our warehouse immediately. Due to our efforts to ensure that you receive your order as quickly and accurately as possible, we are unable to cancel existing orders.

Can I modify my order?

MY ACCOUNT

What Information do I need to register for an account?

To register for a Shade M Beauty account, you just need to provide your name, email address, and password. Don’t worry about filling out the rest of your account information right away—shipping, billing, and address can be provided later. Once registered, you can check out your order status, order history, and manage your account.

How do I change my Login e-mail address or password?

You can change your login email address and password by clicking on "My Information" within your account. Please note that your email subscriptions will be sent to your new email address and any emails related to the order will go to the email address provided at checkout.

I forgot my password, how do I Log In?

All good—we’ve all been there. Please note that passwords are case-sensitive. If you have forgotten your password, please click on "Forgot Your Password?" below Log In, and follow the instructions to reset it.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

What's your return policy?

We’re sorry you don’t love your Shade M products! Unfortunately, due to the hygienic nature of our products, we are unable to offer refunds, returns, or exchanges. All sales are final. Shade M reserves the right to refuse any returns at any time. However if your product arrived damaged please email a picture to us at iam@shadembeauty.com and we will see what we can do on a case by case basis.
